Dionne Frank is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate in Social Policy at The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica. Since 2008, she has served as a full-time faculty on the social work programmes offered by the University of Guyana at its Turkeyen and Tain campuses. Over the years, she has lectured courses in social policy and legislation, social administration and professional development.
In addition to the years spent working as a social work educator, Ms. Frank is a member of several professional and voluntary organisations inclusive of the Guyana Association of Professional Social Workers, Women Across Differences, and the Georgetown District Awards and Mentorship Scheme. During the period September 2012 – September 2015, Ms. Frank served as first chairperson of the National Steering Committee for UNDP Global Environment Facility – Small Grants Programme.
